To make a reservation the client should pay the 20% non-refundable deposit this confirms the booking and a receipt and contract is then issued to the client.
The balance of the hire is payable not less than 5 weeks before the start of the hire period. The owners can sometimes accommodate late bookings in which case the full amount should be paid.
The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering personal belongings.
Whilst the owners make every effort to be flexible with flight times, as a general rule the rental period shall commence at 2pm on the day of arrival and finish at 10am on the day of departure.
The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a reasonable condition at the end of the rental period.
The owners shall not be liable to the client for any claim exceeding that, which has been paid to the owner for the hire period.
Any dispute arising out of this contract to be settled in the Court of Funchal.
